Sinister: Stuff/I like cake

I bought a couple of records at the weekend, which were recommended by
people connected with this list, the first, Stormbringer by John and
Beaverly Martin I got, which is ace, Mr.Coneeely, you are right, it's dead
nice, although I'm not convinced that it's better than Solid Air, it's
certainly class, Tomorrow time is my current favourite, and I believe that
one was written by Beaver-ly. I also got "I want to see the bright lights
tonight" by Richard and Linda Thompson (it was only when I got home I
realised I'd been on a bit of a "signed to Island records, and with their
wives" tip), it's top class too, and it's got a lovely cover as well.

I'm afraid I'm not going to T in the Park myself cause I can't be
bothered with it, still I'm sure you'll all hve a nice time and stuff and I
hope it doesn't rain. Perhaps this weekend would be a good time to arrange a
picnic in Edinburgh, whilst T in the park is on, on the Sunday... at Night!

Sarah, glad you're enjoying Dexy's and ABC, they're both class. ABC's
second album "Beauty Stab" is really good too, although it got panned a bit
at the time, it's well worth it, I don't really know what happened to them
after that - they had a hit in 1987 or something as I remember called "When
sausage sings" which is about Genevieve's cat. It was a nice song that, but
I dunno anything about the album.

Linda, I'll have to concur with Andreas, I think you should name your
fish in honour of the Jazz Butcher, and call it Pat Butcher.

Cheers,
    Keith.
