I've been quiet on the list thus far, but the recent offhanded 
Morrissey bashing has spurred me to jump in and make a stand in defense of
the Moz.. I might first begin by spouting my surprise that so few on a
mailer full of folks loving the lonely, displaced lyrics and happy pop of
B&S seems to appreciate a pioneer in this very musical vein.  At least
Erin (of Tape Tree fame) threw out a  "Kill Uncle" reference which, while
not my fave, gave me a glimmer of hope that I wasn't alone.  Those on the
US tree had better brace themselves for a helthy dose of the man when my
tape rolls around.  Shoplifters of the world......where are you??
