Good grief.

Having been to see Pulp at Finsbury Park, I just thought I'd subscribe
to the Pulp mailing list to see what people were saying about it
(pretty poor I thought). It's HORRID on there.  I walked straight into
some kind of astonishingly bitter but utterly banal dispute about some
list celebrity called Tovi and who got her backstage passes to meet
Jarvis.

I shall never play away from home again.

BTW Thanks for all your suggestions on the 'good films about love with
happy endings' front, especially for Richard's valiant attempt to
relate it to Belle and Sebastian.  They have been passed on.  Adrian's
Sleepless in Seattle gets nil points.  Probably best if any further
suggestions are sent to me privately...
