Sinister: Collaborations

You people have short memories...

Stuart M: engineered early Scritti Politti singles, mates with Robert
Fripp

Stuart D: student of Schoenberg, fired as conductor of Bucharest
Philarmonic after 'spicing up' performance of Messiaen's 'Turangalila'
with shouts of 'Nice one !', 'Quality !' and 'Christ, where did *that*
come from ?'; subsequently played marimbas on PiL's 'Death Disco'

Isobel: Martin Fry's manager during the lean years, can be heard
providing backing vocals on The Clash's 'Sandanista'

Chris: toured with Hawkwind in the 70s (in a 'consultative'
capacity); co-wrote short-lived 'Rhoda'-spinoff sitcom for NBC shortly
after

Mick: older than his boyish good looks suggest, he can be spotted on
page 15 of the booklet included with Sony's recent Miles Davis/Gil
Evans box-set, swapping a joke with Miles during a 'Sketches of Spain'
recording break. Something ribald involving 'ladeez', no doubt.
Science correspondent for 'Nationwide' in the late 70s

Richard:  cited as an 'inspiration' on several Ini Kamoze albums;
wrote the theme to 'So Haunt Me'

Sarah: invented speed garage

They were all, of course, Nazi collaborators during Germany's
occupation of France in the 1940s.

Mike (never took my coat off in the first place).
