Surely it was the unmatchable Womack and Womack that sang "Footsteps", and
didn't Ashford and Simpson sing "Solid as a rock"?  As to which of these
songs (if any) "and the music.........blah" comes from, I'm none the wiser.  

Anyway, thanks for the memories.......my sister and I would have to hang on
to each other to steady ourselves whenever we heard "Footsteps"
.........awwww, the good old days.
