I do believe Alex's main source of income is playing live. He does it a
lot in the states. On rare occasions he'll do a "Hits from yesteryear"
type thing and have a Box Tops tour.
Back in '93 Big Star did a reunion with Jody on drums and the two main
fellows from the Posies taking up the slack. They did 4 or 5 shows and
were quite wonderful.
Alex will do Big Star songs in his solo set, but his real passion seems
to be '50's & "60's R&R. He'll do a lot of fun covers that are slightly
obscure if the feeling stikes him.

Ryco disc are still printing the CD in America. What is very rare and
