Sinister: Elliot Smith who he

Pretty much everything Elliot Smith has put out is worth picking up. He has
releases on Kill Rock Stars and Cavity Search that are mesmerizingly beautiful.
There's a pretty good fanpage if you want to learn more about him at
http://members.tripod.com/~skylash/. He also used to be in a band called
Heatmiser that was much more rock than his solo stuff. But to make a long story
short, you can't go wrong picking up his new album Either/Or.
