The mouse ran up the clock.
But being a mouse he hadn't taken account of British Summer Time,
And turned up an hour late for this nursery rhyme.
So I shot him.

Sing a song of sixpence,
A pocket full of rhyme.
4 and 20 blackbirds,
Wearing Calvin Kleins.
With 501's and Lauren shirts,
With the little polo logo.
They all went orf for holidays,
Somewhere near Castle Drogo.

Hey diddle diddle,
The Cat and the Fiddle...
Must have been a Levellers Fan....oh dear.

Half a pound of Tuppenny Rice,
Half a pound of Treacle,
An apple a day keeps the doctor away,
But your dentists gonna be well pissed-off.
