i always thought that you were only supposed to remember dreams if you woke
up in the middle of one... i dunno, i never understood why there had to be
big, complicated explanations to things like that. i mean, don't some
people say that if you dream about getting teeth extracted it's something
to do with sex? why can't it just be that you're afraid of the dentist?
i keep having dreams about shirley manson... last night it was that she was
lowering burt reynolds down a well in a big red bucket. i have strange
dreams. but they're never about teeth or sex or flying or anything, mostly
i'm just getting chased by a big shoe...

also, i was reading a notes book on 'A Streetcar Named Desire' and the guy
was writing about the name DuBois; that it meant 'of the woods' and that
therefore it was obviously a phallic symbol. sorry? that person must have
the dirtiest mind ever... i mean, who else thinks; 'trees, hmmmm, must be
talking about cocks, then'. i think not.
