simple solution: play your choice of album very loud with the door open
and then your whole corridor will have listened to b&s. and the ones who
don't tell you to shut the fuck up may be fans. you never know.

other business. i have no news of b&s shows and related wonderment to
impart, ahving spent the weekend here in york in the fucking rain and
wind working far too hard to be healthy. i didn't even have a b&s
conversation all weekend. but i did go to a party on saturday
and had a laugh at some of the people who had bothered to dress up. i had 
to respect the girl who wore a huge cardboard pumpkin creation and
couldn't get through the door. hee hee. i was glad i'd opted for the
understated elegant, slightly gothic black option. well, that was the
image i was going for. i probably just looked like a girl in black jeans
and a black t shirt.

i'm going home to sussex on thursday as the north is getting to me. any
of you brighton listees - i'll be at lewes bonfire night. the one walking 
around with her parents because she hasn't got any friends there any
more.
