Sadly, Duke's book has no pictures whatsoever. "What is the
point" etc. Of course you can borrow it, Christopher. In
fact, I've just had a great idea. I hereby convene the
Duke's Book Tree. I send the book to Chris, and three months
later Chris sends it to another lucky listee, who in turn
sends it to the next fortunate pop fan, and so on! That way,
Brad will eventually get to read it too. Duke very kindly
signed my copy, so I will sign it too, and then Chris can
sign it, and so on and so on. People the world over will be
abkle to scratch their heads and think "who the fuck are
Eggs?" I thought it was Eels at first. Well, that's my
proposal, obviously it'll have to be discussed at the House
of Lords first, but I think it's a winner. Send me your
address, Chris, and I'll thrust it in your direction.

Richard Roundtree - even as I write, the star of "Shaft",
"Shaft's Big Score" and "Shaft in Africa" is strutting his
funky stuff across the silver screen. In other words, it was
sold out. Bugger bastard bugger bastard bugger bastard wank!
In order to cheer myself up a bit and keep the
blaxploitation faith, I bought "Shorty the Pimp". I'm
holding it now. As I listen to the record. It is suitably
seedy.

I like Stuart M's Babylon Zoo pantaloons.

I also like the idea of Elliot from "E.T." being at the New
York shows. I'm only sorry he wasn't joined by Elliot from
"Pete's Dragon".

Warrander John sent me a lovely tape with a lovely cover and
a lovely little note written on what appears to be a child's
birthday party invitation. It pictures a very attractive
young lady dressed in capri pants. I think she's French. I
like her a lot. In fact I think I love her. Warrander John
kindly put an end to my embarrassing France Gall virginity.
She sings in German. Thank you, Warrander John, you're the
tops!

Football's shit, isn't it?

Someone mentioned the DJ at the concerts in New York. It was
the dude who does the cover designs for all those lovely B&S
records, Andrew Symington. He has a vinyl copy of "They Call
Me Mister Tibbs". What I really want to know is, was there a
curly-haired little chap by his side?

I'm outta here!
