Sinister: celeb spotting at the nyc show

awright, janine and our gang were just kidding!  though when fran pointed 
up at the balcony and shouted, 'marilyn!'  i did look.  that's cos i'm 
gullible.  m.m. *was* at radiohead last year, though... 

but if we're celebrity-spotting...evan dando was there too.  (yeah...i went 
'wot?' just like you.)   in the balcony.  he's chubby now.  he was lurking 
around a pre-gig wee chris and so were we. 

(you know, i really did want to run up to wee chris and hug him until he 
shrunk to a size so tiny he'd fit inside my pocket.  then i could carry him 
around with me all the time and bring him out every now and then to prove 
that something so adorable really exists!  but we figured that if i even 
attempted a hug, he'd be scared and traumatized and fall ill and then b&s 
would cancel and everyone would blame the tall scary girl for smothering 
chris.)

oh...and there is an ex-fannie in mogwai...it's brendan o'hare, drummer 
boy.  he didn't play with them when mogwai came over here last fall, pity 
that.

oh dear, i've posted twice today.  (and if anyone cares...i can't see 
placebo cos it's cmj badge-only.  pants.)

  No, but members of Pavement were in attendance, as was a Mr. Chris 
Lombardi, Gerard's sidekick at Matador Records.  Also, I heard a rumor 
that one of the former members of Teenage Fanclub (the one who's in 
Mogwai?  Is there a former member of Teenage Fanclub in Mogwai?) was 
there.  

  And I was there with my list crush, who is also my own true love.  I'm 
not famous, though.  Just honest.
