Sinister: Saint Etienne/shoegazing etc

Slightly related to B & S but not completely.  Why do no 
good bands ever ever play in Kent, England at all ever?  
We're really bored here.  Can anyone send us some tapes 
so that we can pretend that we are at a B&S concert?
