Hello
Bill asked quote...I have a cassette from Felt called The Pictorial Jackson
Review. I've had it for three years - there are two songs on it that are
really
wonderful and show clearly their influence on Stuart - they are 'Ivory
Past' and 'Apple Boutique.' I recommend getting this record. Could
anyone recommend another Felt record? They tend to be pretty expensive
here in the States...unquote.
I've got a Felt CD which combines the albums 'The Strange Idol's Pattern and
Other Short Stories' and 'Ignite the Seven Cannons', and, although the music
is great, the best thing is that the sleeve opens to reveal a completely
blank page, but for a single line of barely visible text, and the text reads
"We might as well all stay in our rooms until we die." But the most
beautiful Felt album I've heard is endearingly titled 'Forever Breathes The
Lonely Word'.
Have you people already discussed the instrumental part of Mayfly?
anyway...
Hugh
