Sinister: A train story

Stuff like this happens to me all the time - I can only put it down to the
fact that if I was a super hero my special power would be "nutter magnetism"

On the train to Penrith a really drunk old Glaswegian guy came and sat with
me, and tried to share his can of special brew - mmmm ..I was tempted, but
refused.  Then this old woman walked down the aisle and he reached out and
pinched her bum.. which wasnt really funny cos she was SO offended, but I
couldnt help laughing.....  And that really set him off - this guy kept
singing to me about how sad he was that i didnt love him anymore.  And then
tears started rolling down his cheeks.. EVERYONE in the carriage was staring
at the pair of us.. so at the next stop I had to pretend to get off the
train and escape into the next carriage.  Where i bumped into Will
Self..weird...am sure there is a lesson to be learned from this ..
