Sinister: CD copies of 'Tigermilk'

So many things I have to learn, not because they'll serve any purpose in
my life, like learning Java will, but because I'm bored and I can't read
"The Bonfire of the Vanities" at my desk.

So please humour me with some local color (fact or fiction, doesn't
matter, as long as it's entertaining!).

First of all, what is "Fox in the Snow" all about? Why are this person's
legs turning black and blue, and why in the world would there be a
question as to whether he got paid?

Now there's that word again. I'm really curious about these "Casuals." Are
they like our preppies, expensive private school types from old families?
Are they like "yuppies," cell-phone sporting business types who wear
sneakers to work, or are they like our "white trash," suburban dwellers
who listen to country music, drive trucks and don't have a clue? Also, are
there any famous examples of "casuals," and how did the term evolve?

I'm really curious to know about this, and I'm really bored, so I'll
expect the answers to come flying in!
