Sinister: dylan and mono

Forgive for my ignorance, if this question has been asked before, but 
I am a new listee, I just want to know who does the Dylan in 'Like 
Dylan In The Movies' refer to. Also is anyone out there into anything 
as diverse as Mono, Tricky and Joy Division.
