I too have used this description when trying to convert my unknowing and often
unwilling friends.  It makes me wanna dance on one foot then the next,
alternating sides that I bop my head.  The xmas special is the reason I have
often thought this song extra wintry.

I completely agree!!   I saw it last week and it has upped the ante for
filmmaking.  I havent been so moved to silence in a long time.  I'm still
digesting and processing most of it. I'm gonna try to see it again soon.

Finally, on a consumer high last week, my vacuum tube amplifier and
magnaplanar speakers were delivered on Friday.  And although belle and
sebastian sound great on my discman and everywhere else I have played them, I
must admit they simply sparkle through my new system.  So I am an audiogeek!!
The tears that came upon my first listening to B&S came streaming again as I
listened to Judy whilst sitting in my sweet spot.  If you get a chance, go to
a hifi shop and sample some B&S on some electroplanar speakers.  When I was
shopping around I used several songs for testing and a salesguy even wrote
down the title and band name for himself.  I know not everyone can appreciate
or afford to get a similar system: mine came with several years of saving and
a very teeny inheritance from my mom.  But to hear every small breath Stuart
takes is a simple thing that makes this not so young girl sigh.
