Sinister: fashion : I am in a dress, I am in a mess

Hello!

Actually, I am not in a dress but in a silverish grey pencil skirt and
baby blue tight wolly jumper.I am afraid it is not very fashionable in the
B&S fans' way, but it is true. But I don't even know yet what it is that I
should not get in any case, that's puffer or puffa jackets or whatever...

My question is : 'I am in a mess...etc' is it a quote from some song?
