Sinister: post-Thanksgiving

Monday. I just got back to my office. It's freezing. The heater seems to
have died. I think I will die if it stays like this all day. And to think,
5 months ago I was living in Chicago. Now I can't even stand a Northern
California November.

Thanksgiving in California - Thursday - after the turkey feast, 6-7
glasses of red wine, and the obligatory chatting with the extended family,
I put B&S on for those who were left. My cousin loved it, so did my mom.
My dad said it reminded him of Donovan.

Saturday - went driving around Hollywood with my cousin and fiance. Wound
up at Canter's deli eating matzo ball soup and a knish (matzo ball soup is
REALLY good - I had never eaten it before). We went to a club, waited out
front 1/2 hour, then left. Went to a movie, "Waking Ned Devine," what an
idiotic film! It was 2 hours of stupid jokes and insultingly ridiculous
antics that would've fallen flat in an American film, made endearing
because they were told in Irish accents. Yeccch! I hope this is not the
future of European cinema.

Anyway, just thought I'd post because I wanted to see my name on the list,
and I wanted to rip that terrible film.

Ciao,
