here's a lucky frenchman who's just listened to the session with a
wonderful sound (recorded it too, of course)
I must say that, though I loved the records and songs, I was a trifle
worried about what that could work out on stage. And I got a bit afraid by
the first song "the boy done wrong again" which is the one I like the less
in all their records. But after that, that was real good, fine songs finely
played. Even a French cover "poupee de cire, poupee de son" a song written
by Serge Gainsbourg.
Unfortunately the last song was cut because the show ended and it was
"sleep the clock around", my fave on the last LP. Well, I know they'll play
it again pretty soon ( not tomorrow, as Babybird is in session).
Too bad I can't see them tomorrow in Paris.:-(
