Well,at least according to this teacher I know,or maybe he just tells 
those stories so we feel special...
"My children,I was in France one day,on a day not unlike today.I was 
sitting in a little cafe,all by myself and I could hear the passer-by's 
whispering at me,insulting me...you know,they thought I was American.
So I stood up,yes I got right up off my chair,and stared right back at 
those mocking faces and said JE SUIS CANADIEN.
They started to appluad one by one." couldn't that just be a Molson 
commercial? 

the other story he told me was that if i would get beat up in europe 
unless i sewed a canadian flag to my sac a dos...

ah,it's the irish who are the coolest anyways.
