Sinister: Something fishy...

Yeah yeah... Everyone is telling me about this sturgeon business. I grew up
in a land-locked area and I don't EAT fish... I guess I don't know about all
these fish types...

And what's this about rioting at B&S shows? I mean, I love their music, but
rioting seems a bit off the mark! Or is this another one of those jokes
that I'm just not getting?

Has anyone already commented (probably long ago!) on the fact that many of
the list members appear to work for music-related companies? Not that it's
surprising, but I've not encountered this many on other lists I've seen.

But I don't want you all to think I'm an insufferable crank... really I'm
not! So onto some B&S adoration to prove it... A fellow B&S lover and I
were discussing the fact that one of the things we've liked right from the
start about the band is their seeming lack of pretense. Their music feels
very sincere. The songs that are so easy to relate to that you feel you've
heard them a million times before on just the first listen are songs that
are just GENUINE (like, I imagine, this new Lord Anthony people have been
raving about). At the moment, my favorite tunes are Seeing Other People
(that piano is tremendous - very RIGHT , and of course the words...) and
Judy and the Dream of Horses - just a beautiful song.

So I saw myself as a quiet one... but I guess I was wrong - or, at least,
now I am.
