Sinister: do you think a girl should go to bed with a fella, if he doesn't love her?

see them when they play your town. but you already knew that.

I think Yo La Tengo wrote a song about him? Anyway, this film, along with
one called "gregory's girl" have been mentioned before, but I have yet to
find either available for rent here. so do any US list people, bay area
specifically, have suggestions on where to find them? under what category
(comedy/drama/action/romance/...adult?!?) do they fall?  I feel so left out.

Finally my hours spent nibbling biscuits and watching VH-1's "Behind the
Music" come in handy... okay, let's see! ::clears throat::: 
Teddy Pendergrass used to be in a 60s/70s band called the Bluenotes, they
are quite famous for a song called "If you don't know me by now" which was
later covered by Simply red or Paul young or someone equally boring. He went
on to a successful solo career, putting out some acclaimed soul albums, and
as I recall, lead a somewhat debaucherous lifestyle. In the early 80s, Teddy
was in a terrible car accident and was left paralyzed from the waist down.
he still continues recording, but has found God and now leans toward the
gospel music side of things. 
Now if only someone would ask for some info on Andy Gibb or John  Denver...

I'm trying to convert a friend to the ways of B&S.  Please e-mail me
privately (i.e. no clogging up Sinister with song l*sts) if you can suggest
songs that should definitely be included...none of my previous conversion
attempts have been very successful, so i am pathetically seeking assistance.
