Sinister: Stuart at the Michael Stipe show (Boston)

Excellent show last night, as everyone can attest. Especially liked the
(chord) "They let Lisa ... oh shit" (wrong chord) routine from Stuart, when
he had to go off to the side with the guitarist and get a quick refresher. 

I think I can trace his confusion to earlier in the day. Before the show, I
was checking out the Michael Stipe photograph show -- 2x Intro, a record of
a Pattie Smith tour. (Don't quit your day job, Michael!)

It's in the basement of the concert auditorium, and people were scurrying
about trying to prepare rooms for the band to hang out in. So I'm rounding
the corner and this blond bloke with a British-type jumper -- you know,
horizontal red stripes, high stiff collar, zipper -- and a clipboard
(learning last minute songs?) looks up at me. I think, hmm, he looks
familiar and sure enough it's Stuart, checking out the Michael Stipe show. 

So what does one do in this situation, confronted by a brilliant yet shy
singer? Ask for a photo? Joke about haggus? 

I smiled, anyway .... minutes later he was running off towards some blue
doors and the concert people were yelling "No, that's the wrong door,
Stuart! Stuart ?!!" but I guess he found his way back ...
