Sinister: mp3s?

i looked through the archive, and didn't see much info about it, so i
figured i might as well bring it up here . . . i apologize in advance if
the subject is taboo for some reason, but how does the band/record company
feel about the distribution of rare/unreleased/live belle and sebastian
songs in mp3 format?  i'd really like to share some of the stuff i've got
(not that i've got a whole lot) with those fans on this list less fortunate
than i, and the easiest and fastest way to do it would probably be to
either email them mp3's or post the mp3's on the web somewhere . . . but of
course i won't do it if it's against the band's wishes . . .
