although we will continue to turn a blind eye to all the tapes tha circulate the
globe (of tigermilk , rarities and live tapes), when it comes to any of them
turning into a digital format we will always take the same stance.

we will not grant permission for ANY of the sound of any of the bands on jeepster
to be distributed and published in any digital format. we will also pursue this
further and any that we do discover we will take action against. in the case of
radio sessions we will leave it to the BBC, for the rest it would be passed onto
Sony Publishing (where publishing is being breached) or instruct our lawyers to
pursue legal action.

in the case of mp3's, wav or real audio files being stored for download or
distributed on the net. we will not hesitate to take action against the person
responsible and any parties that aid the person reponsible. this means that if you
put illegal mp3's on your site not only will we pursue you, we will also pursue
the company that hosts your site - in most cases this will simply result in ISP's
closing whatever accounts you have with them as per your license agreement that
you signed when you subscribed to their service.

i know the wording of this may appear harsh, but the band have always expressed
their desire to prevent any of their music to be taken out of context. as a label
we also wish to retain all (p) and (c) notifications and prevent the sound from
being used without our knowledge. as distributing music files breaches both of
these intentions we feel we have to take a stand.

this message will hopefulyl reside in the archives and appear if anyone searches
for this topic again, to aid this, excuse the keywords at the bottom which should
mean that it turns up in more searches.

thank you for your patience,

and sorry joe if this seems harsh, the record occasionally needs to be set
straight, and this is one for the archives :)
