incidentally, whilst flipping through that select during one of my
far-too-few cigarette breaks and looking for the b+s review, i saw the
stuart pic but mistakenly thought it was a *new order* review and took mr.
murdoch to be *bernard sumner*. oops! the thing is, before that initial
glance, i had never laid eyes on our beloved hero. apologies to stuart for
the mis-taking.
new york in nine days, wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! have we finalised any meet-up
plans, kids?
oh...i bought the gomex record 'bring it on' the other day cos it was
reduced price and of course i am curious about mercury prize winners. and
now i can't stop listening to it. tell me, is there something wrong with
me? or do i just have exceptional music taste?

SUBJECT too long. Original SUBJECT is
Sinister: hey americans, you may be fat, but at least you're not english

forget northern soul, the mighty wurlitzer is the future. it is ideally
suited to those interested in melancholy, i played some to a friend and she
wept.
i didn't know that the Dog on Wheels version of The State I Am In was a
demo. i've not heard the other, but i adore the version i know.
also i want a dog on wheels, where can i procure such an object?
because i have a tres short memory my regrets are normally quite vague, or
unspecific, but the two very vivid ones i do have both concern B&S:
1. reading a review for tigermilk, in select and thinking about buying it
coz it had a good name...and not buying it
2. queueing outside the zodiac (oxford) last year for a B&S gig without a
ticket,
then giving up and going to the pub. the people who stayed got in.
has funkyseb really gone?
as for footballers, i don't see the appeal of beckham, etc, but quite like
Suker from Croatia. it's not a 'fancying' thing, more a 'ooh, he's sweet'.
Kind of like how i feel about Michael Palin. Am I sick?
the picture of StuartM in select( with the review) looks much too like
darren day, who i am regretably related to very distantly
(grandfathers' fathers' great grandson, i believe).
le roule is best cheese - soft, mild and herby, yet captivating. like
expensive philadelphia with green bits chucked in.
how does one learn to play the trumpet? i am inspired by the trumping on
beautiful and doggone wheels. i have a heads tart coz i used to play tenor
horn in ma yout.
i went to a proper restaurant for the first time on saturday. it was
bizarre - we were treated like grown ups, and it was unnerving.
can i contribute to the smut content of the list, or am i supposed to be
nice and girly? i'm very good at smut, but i can go too far.
that's me done. now i'll cycle to sainsbury's, which is about a mile away,
just to buy some cigarettes. talk about pathetic.
orve wah.

night)
