Sinister: are there canals in america?

ahh, schooldays...i had a parka. It was of the manky 2nd hand variety, and i
didn't like it much. That was, until my parents bought me a replacement from
C&A , which was turquoise, and and some kind of mutant forerunner to puffa
jackets. One day it was snowing and i left early for school and walked along
the road instead of over the field. I found a duck's nest in a bit of hedge
(nearby the river) and stole one of the eggs, my conscience beating wildly
in my little skull. I put the egg in my pocket and took it to school. By
this point i was feeling incredibly guilty, so i kept quiet about the egg. I
even kept quiet about it when it broke and just harboured it in my pocket
till the end of the day. My parents didn't mind much, i didn't bother trying
to hide it from them, but the coat was never quite the same, and i wore the
parka whenever i could. Even though my ability to look freakish and feral
shone through particularly well in it. Thinking about it, it's a good job
i didn't wear it to secondary school. They'd have had the social worker onto
me a lot sooner than year 8 then. There's photos of me sporting the
turquoise affair, in the hen run, my hair in a sweet little bob, holding a
chick. It looks very innnocent. What i *recall* is that i was 'teaching' the
chicks to fly, by throwing them in the air and letting them do the rest.
Which they didn't. Like dysfunctional harrier jump jets (slightly). Again my
parents didn't mind much. Lucky the social worker didn't get to hear about
this.

just spouting crap really, hoping to say something good, kinda like finding
a ruby in a pile of clay.

just to add, what are people's middle names, this is an obsession i have,
coz
mine is perverse(at least in oxfordshire),  i find them more interesting
than
first names. i knew a girl once who refused to admit her middle name, which
was barbara, i don't know why though.
