Sinister: The ABBA-B&S Connection...

First I want to say I too am very embarrassed to have been in Philadelphia
with all the negativity directed at Chris and the band due to Isobel's
illness...selfishness is the biggest pitfall of the popfan, and they
really don't owe us anything as they've already given us so much, so just
wait patiently for the next time they come around to unload your drooling
adoration (you do remember those days, don't you, when you would've died
for them??).  We're talking about humans here who get ill like we do, not
music-performing life-affirming robots (that's Kraftwerk, if there was any
confusion, who probably *could* play if someone got sick).

Secondly, and to the main point of my message.  Tell me I'm not crazy,
that at 2:16 of "You Made Me Forget My Dreams" the electric piano break
does not sound *exactly* like the beginning of ABBA's "S.O.S."--it's
freaky!  

Another ABBA-Scottish band connection: the beginning of the Cocteau Twins'
"Blue Bell Knoll" sounds like the piano break in ABBA's "Money Money
Money."  Is there a conspiracy afoot?  Discuss.

Not that there's anything wrong with referring to ABBA, they are gods.
And I'm not ashamed to say it.
