Greetings lovely people,

I too am feeling sad and disapointed over the cancelation, but I got to spend the weekend with my dear friend Beth...so I'm not feeling too bitter.  We were too downhearted to make the aftershow party, though.  I'm glad so many of you had fun and I hope the Chicago Show goes off allright.

I guess it's a trade off between what we owe the band and what the band owes us.  Is it art without an audience?  I just bought the Dylan "Live '66"..WOW!  It's amazing.  Together Dylan and his hositle admirers create something neither expected.  

Re the shag album:  I'd have to put my vote in for this glossy compilation album called "Pure Funk" advertised on TV here in the US...nothin' like gettin' down and dirty with "Lady Marmalade," "Theme from Shaft," and "Flashlight."
