OK, kids, here are the directions I promised:

For Hannah, coming from Northampton:

1 - Join the M1.  You'll be junction 15, 15a or 16 I think.  I'm presuming
you know how to get here.

2 - Carry on until you get to junction 25, at which point leave the
motorway.

3 - You need to join the A52 Stapleford Bypass going eastwards.  You've just
been going north, so it's the third turnoff.

4 - At the first roundabout you come to, go straight accross to carry on
along the A52.

5 - At the next roundabout, go straight across again to stay on the A52 -
it's now called Derby road, but it's still the A52.

6 - At the next roundabout, go straight across again to stay on the A52 -
Derby road.

7 - At the next roundabout, go straight across again to stay on Derby Road -
it's now called the A6200

8 - You're almost there - Lenton Boulevard is the 9th or 10th (I can't see
on the map) turning on the road after the roundabout.  It's the first yellow
one after the roundabout, so it'll probably look vaguely important and also
signposted as the A6130.  You can go left or right - it's still Lenton
Boulevard.

9 - I don't know where the Marcus Garvey centre is, so you'll have to find
it yourself.  I decided it would be easier if you saw a map of it, and even
though it's really naughty, I put a bit of the map at
http://www.btinternet.com/~jon.g/map.jpg to help you all.

Ok - that's it.  It's probably not the quickest way, but I think it'll be
the easiest.

If anyone else wants directions from somewhere else, just mail me.

I'm still unsure about the picnic - it won't be much fun in a hurricane.  If
you would like to come along and meet people and eat pork pies somewhere
before the gig, mail me and I'll see if I can sort something out.

Here's how to spot me and bethey: I will be young, about 16 I would say with
brown hair and wearing flared corduroy trousers.  bethey will also be young,
about 15 and a lot shorter than me (she's not very tall at all!).  She has
short brown hair also.
