i got some strange press releases guff in the tangents box today:
something about the woman in the peugeot advert, another about yo-yos,
an airtours 'youth' holidays brochure, and something that i think some
of you lot might be interested in:

and i quote: "with the millenium just around the corner, popular poetry
publishers Triumph House are giving you the chance to tell them your
thoughts and experiences of the last four decades of popular music..."

The idea seems to be you send them no more than two poems (max 30 lines
each) about Pop and i guess they make an anthology of the best. Well
wouldn't it be super if loads of sinister babies wrote loads of poems
about how a belle record changed their lives or something and submitted
them? maybe we could post them to the list and have another list
contest? i dunno... if anyone IS interested, the address for sending
