Oh yes, and about X-Ray Spex: "No one listens to this stuff for 
enjoyment." Best of all, though, is that he caught on to the first 
Replacements album; gave it three stars, and praised them for being 
fun-loving and not taking themselves too seriously, then sealing his 
epitaph in unfadeable print: "Who knows if we'll ever hear from them 
again? Who really cares?" 
Yet he had the patience to write what seemed to be about 8,000 pages 
about Bruce Springsteen. Double-hmmph.
