Sinister: new album

Hello.  I'm a new subscriber to this group.  I love the new album but have
to say I much prefer Sinister.  Does anyone else think Chickfactor and
Seymour Stein sound like John Cale-esque Velvet Underground?  Also I read
somewhere that Spaceboy Dream was a "blatant rip-off" of the Velvets'
"The Gift" but I don't see it (they're both spoken, but...).  anyhoo.
