darlings.

oh so many messages that i could not be bothered reading, but here are some
things anyway...

1) Have the meet up in Glasgow! Cos i am moving there next Sunday and you
can all come and stay in the crappy flat with me... Maybe Keith should just
put all the place suggestions in a magician-style top hat and pull one out,
then noone will have to debate on the pros and cons of each place as it
will all be decided by chance. Of course then we will end up going to Skye
or something and no one will bother...

2) 'The Man' vs 'The Kids'. Hmmm, well being a poor impoverished unemployed
ciderdrinking scum student type, i buy my records wherever they are
cheapest. Which usually happens to be Fopp, which is an hours bus ride away
(and it's not even a nice bus), but still preferable to going to Woolies
who never have anything i want. When i was 14 i did my work experience in
Our Price where i was astonished at how high a markup i was having to put
on DogManStar and The Holy Bible. But most people round here don't have a
choice other than to go to Woolies or whatever, so you can't really blame
them in that sense. Not that it matters as they only buy shite. And this is
not me being 'elitist'. I speak from the experience of having been bullied
on the school bus for six years due to the kind of music i was listening
to...

3) Some people have been going on about all the new b&s songs sounding like
other older ones. I hardly ever notice comparisons, but does it really
matter? After punk, everything was an echo of the past and everyone became
a user of culture, didn't they? You can't create your 'Year Zero' again so
sooner or later things are gonna start sounding alike. Everything's
revisionist.

4)umm, there was going to something else here, but i've forgotten what it
was.

Will i beable to get any of the badges which were on sale at Maryhill by
mailorder? I bought twelve at the time but i've given nearly all of them
away. And has anyone else noticed that the wee 'Seb' badge has a
green/white striped shirt and ginger hair? Does this mean B&S are Celtic
supporters? Just wondered.

love always,

debbie xxx
