I see a few people on the list are going to the Black Cat show; anybody who is
considering making the d.c. date should--it's a great, intimate club. Also,
B&S fans should check out the Momus show at the Black Cat the week before.
Momus is overeducated foppishness at its finest!!

Just joined the list...overwhelmed by the amount of mail, but learned about
the d.c. show early as a result, so thanks.

Alas, I'm a bigger fan of "Sinister" and the "Lazy Line Painter Jane" and
"3..6..9" EPs than "Arab Strap," but what the frick, it's a free world.

For the U.S. fans, has anyone seen a B&S vid on MTV?

And since I love lists (and disobeying rules): Pulp, Suede, Auteurs, Baader
Meinhaaf, Sainte Etienne, Momus, Magnetic Fields and (early, now): Mekons, Joy
Division, X Ray Spex, Wire, Gang of Four, Clash, Costello and all early female
punk and Rough Trade stuff.
