St Etienne is a french name (after the football team famous in the 70's) BUT
they are certainly not French - they are English and although they are twee pop
I think they are not worthy to lick Stuarts boots - sometimes I worry about the
musical taste of this list

Saint Etienne are a lovely french group. for some reason, all of the
music is in english, but that's besides the point. They recently
released a new album, whose title i do not know (i lack the cash to
purchase it at this time...) but their previous album, "fox base alpha,"
is a mighty good time had by all. I recommend it.
