Sniff. So long Tim and I agree with every word you say. Please
everyone take note of Honey's pleas and don't argue about it on the
list. He does a smashing job of running the list and tends to know
best about how these things should be done. I like to think of him as
the archetypal benevolent dictator.

Wise words indeed. If only T'Pau had launched their career with
'Heart and Wit' things could have been a whole lot different.

What's this - swots on Sinister? I found it hard enough to cope with
Keith being a prefect, but this takes the biscuit.

I had a dream last night. I was at a B&S concert and Stuart M bounced
up on stage with a 'new look', modelled on Christian Bale in
'Metroland'. Isobel was ill so he took the vocals for 'Is it wicked
not to care?' and made a real pigs ear of it. No one whispered 'That
was gorgeous' in his ear. Isobel made a late appearance, but boy she
was looking rough. Should have stayed in bed.

Did I miss anyone mentioning the bit in Melody Maker where it said
"Belle and Sebastian have contacted the MM to apologise fot their late
appearance at Shepherd's Bush" etc.? Stuart M. said there were still
planning to do the boat tour at some stage, but that boat owners had
worried what pop fans might do to their vessels. I don't know why
that sounds pervy. Anyway, Stupot said they had nothing to worry
about as we were all "sweeties". How kind. I felt like cutting it
out and sending it to that journalist who seemed to believe that the
delay was all on purpose and 'very Belle and Sebastian' with "So ner"
written in big letters.

By the way - nil points to Stuart for taking back what he said about
National Park. I liked the idea of blaming it all on them and their
idiot drummer, because they were rubbish. I seem to remember Katrina
telling us not to miss them 'because they're good'. Hmmm.
