Sinister: IS IT TRUE?

hiya,

if my memory serves me correctly...

how cmj of cmj to make that comparison.  lullaby for the working class are 
a band with a great name and not much else.  'country' is the best 
description i can put forth without sounding too harsh.  i've only heard 
one or two of their songs, maybe it's not fair of me to be posting 
this...but the band was featured on a complilation put out by their label 
last year (the label?  it was something creek something or other records, 
highly indie rock kind of thing) and i had to review the record for the 
radio station at my college...i didn't give a very favorable review.

so i don't like lullaby for the working class, even though i thought i 
would because of their name.  i don't consider a comparison to b+s a 
compliment to our beloved glaswegians.  but some people don't know what 
they're writing about half the time.   

by the way...got a clipping at work today of the review in 'usa today' for 
'arab strap'...called b+s 'paranoid.'  bwhahaha.

anyhow...i continue to nurse my cold...have pretty days and nights...

Hello all.
I was just reading the latest issue of CMJ, and the review they had of
B&S. They compared them to a band I have never heard of called Lullaby
For The Working Class. Can anyone shed some light on who this band is,
and whether this is a worthy comparison. I'm wondering how such a great
band (since they sound like B&S) slipped through my paws. Any insight
would be greatly appreciated!
