Sinister: proposed Chicago-area meetup

I would like to arrange a meetup for Chicago-area listmembers. 
Ordinarily, I should be one of the last candidates to organize something
that resembles a party.  Among this crowd, though, my qualifications are
probably about average.  So let's give it a try.

If you would be interested, get in touch.  If you can suggest a place to
meet, an activity, etc., please do.  This is only of interest to a very
small number of listmembers, so please be sure to reply only to me. 

What we do would depend in part on how many people are interested.  So far
there are 3 of us.  (2 people expressed interest when I floated the idea
in another message on another topic.) 

I may post a reminder in the future, but again, all discussion should
happen off the list.
