Oh yes, Mental Mavis and her Gentle Wavies were mighty fine on Sunday,
and punctual too.  Whatever next?

If Mavis had been displaying signs of nerves at Leeds she had evidently
overcome them by Sunday.  The record is a teeny bit disappointing in
comparison - more Jonathon Cohen than Leonard Cohen :)

And whilst you were searching the Guardian yesterday for that review
you may have missed evidence that our legendary smut is leaking out of
the confines of the list and into the big bad world outside.
