That song called "kinky love" (supposedly written just before the show) is
actually a cover version.

It was a very minor hit (ie No.71) for The Pale Saints in something like
1991.  The Gentle Waves version is quite a close copy of the original,
though to be honest I'll still always prefer PS's version.

Not knowing much about The Pale Saints I don't know if they actually covered
it themselves since it is written by D. Ellington (no note Duke!).

Anyway... off to buy the TGW album now seeing as the show was so good.
