Indeed I did have a cunning
breaking-the-ice-polite-conversationwise-are-you-mental excuse to mingle at
the Glasgow picnic and everybody proved to be very nice so that it was with
great reluctance that I left to get a train, having luckily been in town for
my best friend's wedding the day before. At least I got to offer Stuart a
cheesy stick....
Which inspired the unreleased verse of Fox in the Snow..
"Boy on the streets
Handing out eats
You've got twiglets, you've got pop
You had a bottle but you let it drop
Now it's all fizzy..."
I won't be there this time but as at Bowlie I'll be with you in spirit.
It'll be great fun and I commend it to the list.
xx
