Sinister: in haste

Just to say two things: first that there's a new story in the
library, and the librarian Miss Honey is *very* pleased - it's in
French so she's convinced it must be sexy, and is preparing for a
"night in" curled up under the duvet with a French dictionary, some
Barry White and lots of massage oil.  It's from our very own Stephane

Secondly, because that Bowlie Train's a-coming I've relaxed some of
the things that stopped you all seeing pointless mails like
"unsubscribe" which people in their lesser wisdom sometimes send to
the list.  Sorry for this but if I don't while I'm away some of your
mails might not get through, because I'm the unseen hand that filters
these things.  So you may just see a slight reduction in
signal-to-noise for the next 5 or so days, and any queries about the
list you send to me will sit in a big pile.  If my plans to join a
harem at Camber Sands don't come to fruition, and I have to return to
this humdrum life instead, then order will be restored
list-mummy-wise on Monday.

Oh and Captain Peter Miller asked Honey why he can't print his
Scampi.  Is this a universal problem, like scratching your back on
the underground?  Peter - try loading the whole book in your browser
(link: "book" on the index page) and doing a "Save" as plain text or
just right-clickety-Save on "book".  If this doesn't work, let me
know and I'll... ask my Balfronian gentleman to get it sorted.
