Sinister: more Bowlie bits and things..

Oh..I've just got myself together from this weekend.  I have never (ever) had so much fun.  If Stu & co. decide to do it again in September..well then fuck university, I'm flying over.  Watch out world! (Just like Smashing Time in the cinema on Saturday.  Did anyone else catch that?)

I'm sorry I missed all the fun Sinister activites.  During the football, I was watching "Withnail and I" and drinking red wine with my chaletmates.  I did meet Carmisle Steve; I stopped him because I saw his upside down badge.  I also met a few Sinisterees up near the front of the stage near Mick and Stevie during Belle & Seb.  Being all sweaty and up close with total strangers is a real bonding experience.

I saw Jarvo on Saturday night during V-Twin.  There was this little circle of space around where people didn't want to get too close in case they looked like they were TRYING to get too close.  So, being the brass American I am, I went up and introduced myself and got him to stand for a picture with me.  Woo!

I too had an encounter with a random Swede.  This one stayed on the floor in our chalet having follwed my friend Anne home.  He had used his sympathetic stories and his not-quite-fluent English to win her over.  He kept name dropping Teenage Fanclub members the whole time he was with us.  

Anyway, for me the very best bits were the Bel and Seb set and all the lovely dancing I did (and seeing Stuart M bip bopping all over the dance floor).

Does anyone have the set list?  I don't think I remeber them all in order. Did anyone tape the show?  The Steve Lamaq thing?  I'd like a copy of both.  

Oh, and for those of you who got your pictures taken away, I got free doubles when I got mine developed.  I'm willing to exchange them. (They're not high quality ,mind you, but I was very near the front.)
