hello folks,

cd chain store and generally nasty shop MVC and various evil money
lovin' record companies have conspired to produce an MVC sampler cd of
recently produced music for only 3.99 as a cunning marketing ploy to
get you to spend spend spend on the artists contained therein...
hang on, what's this?  up a tree?  again?  by looper?  how unexpected!

i'm a little confused - is weird al yankovic now a well respected
satirist in the states?  i wouldn't want him to go anywhere near a belle
and sebastian song.  isn't he that appalling tosser who did a michael
jackson parody about fifteen years ago?  have i got him all wrong?

did someone around here give away the ending to the blair witch project
before half of us had had a chance to see it?  don't worry - that's
nothing.  george lucas hasn't even made the next two star wars films
yet, but he gave away the ending over twenty years ago.  how stupid
must he be feeling?

it seems to be tigermilking season again, so take your tigers upstairs
at the garage (opposite highbury & islington tube station) on friday
night and get them well and truly milked by a genuine in-the-flesh real
live band, lots and lots of belle and sebastian songs, and sinister djs
galore playing the sort of music that *you* like!  yes!  you!

has anyone else noticed how much helen love sound like a welsh indie
band "...crossed with thom yorke"?  it's uncanny, it really is.
