Sinister: (don't) panic on the streets of london

i'm going to edinburgh tomorrow to soak up some rare culture, and since i am  
currently without fixed accommodation arrangements, i could well be soaking 
it up 24 hours a day.  does it get cold at night this time of year up there?

before i go, can i just say that tigermilking was GREAT last night, and even 
during 'technical difficulties' we could be entertained by the dazzling 
spectacle of mark's shiny shirt :)  sorry trousers for managing to insult you 
within 5 seconds of meeting you, and sorry everyone else if i was sucking a 
lollipop while i was being introduced to you, not a pleasant sight i'm sure.  
both due to nervousness, i have to say.  in case anyone worried (thanks 
kevan), miss sophie and i managed to negotiate night buses successfully and 
were fast asleep on the train by 4am, the fading strains of 'modern rock 
song' echoing through our happy dreams.
