hello folks

thanks for your eclipse stories last week, it was very cloudy here so
it just went a bit grey and chilly for a while.  a bit disappointing
but at least i got to reminisce about being in manchester.

more importantly did anyone remember to tell lisa not to look directly
into the sun during the eclipse?  now you know what you've gone and let
happen there don't you?

yes, safety is a polar bear b-side, and i believe struan adds a touch
of recorder playing or somesuch in addition to his vocal stylings.
unusually for snow patrol that particular song gets a local dignitary
smashing a champagne bottle and declaring my boat officially floated.

thanks to everyone who came to tigermilking last friday, and thanks for
putting up with the "technical difficulties" that seem to be becoming a
regular feature, what with the fuses being blown at the first one, and
the equipment deciding it wasn't going to play b&s songs this time (a
rather severe handicap at a b&s themed night).

congratulations to glampam the dancing queen who managed to dance for
three hours or so without missing a song, that girl is on duracell
batteries...  apologies to pj miller, whose request for "sister disco"
was still being digested as i was making my way to the big smoke on
friday...  and props to archel and weejay both of whom i met for the
first time (thanks to whoever explained that props means kudos, it's
a lot clearer now).

richmal compton may not have been a rabbit, but i think you'll find
that richard adams was, and sometimes he was a bloody big bear too.
