Sinister: "Painful" "LAZILY" "Hooky" "squalid" intro

Hi all.  Time to squeeze in another introduction?  Go on.

Actually I had this lovely introduction all written out nice and proper -
lots of references to all your mails and stuff - but now I'm finally able to
talk it somehow doesn't feel right to send it.  So instead you get this
rushed job, speeded up by the painful coldness in this student flat
somewhere in Newcastle.... best make sure I start work on my scarf and
cardigan later.

A little about me:  Another student.  Studying art here in Newcastle.  I
painted a pretty little abstract picture for a friends auction the other day
and I was quite pleased it made £5... then that damn Ruth Waters got £35 for
her painting of a boat (which was CYNICALY and LAZILY painted over the top
of a photocopied photograph anyway) so damn this art thing.  It was a
sailing boat though so I could sorta see why it should be so preciously
valued and Ruth is `4real`... so they say.

And I aspire to being ace bass player (Hooky like) and songwriter
extrodinare.  `Salon Kitty` is our groups name, but if anyone can think of
anything cool in the way of band names we're still open for ideas.  Keep
them a little bit brutal and squalid though.

And thats about that.  No mention of a certain 8 piece group, I know but
perhaps if I save my all thoughts on this subject up for bedtime I'll
eventually have my special Fox In The Snow dream.
